  • Keep learning whenever, wherever possible. Be a lifelong learner!
  • Don’t shy away from trying out new ventures in life! Variety builds more confidence and experience.
  • Constantly extract the main learning essence from life’s experiences-good or bad! Delete the rest!
  • Re-designing life can be started at any stage and age!
  • Live every moment in the present. This is very crucial for progressing in life.
  • Turn expectations down to a bare minimum, if not zero, and suddenly you will find yourself in an ocean of peacefulness.
  • Listen to your best critics with an open mind! They are the people who actually give you the mental push to move forward!
  • Never label yourself as what others call you.
  • Be constantly alert and present-minded because the universe gives you those invaluable signals, contacts and connections when you are least prepared to be receptive!
  • Be all ears when discussing stuff with the younger generation. You will be amazed at the radical simplicity of the solutions they have to offer!
  • Do the fact-finding yourself on your career decisions and own the responsibility, because more often than not, chances are the people you approach for advice are as clueless as you are!
  • It’s OK to sometimes lose faith in God in a fit of rage or frustration when nothing seems to be going your way. It’s normal. After all, we are human beings. When your frustration or anger subsides, seek forgiveness and start re-believing in Him. You will find considerable peace of mind.
  • Keep a daily planner or work routine (in case you are wondering how to make one, you can contact me) for each and every day of your life. You will be amazed to find out how much more you can do in a day!
  • Don’t start browsing on your mobile as soon as you wake up! It disrupts your natural mental pattern. Do some light exercise or meditation first in the morning (the payoff is priceless!) to give you a good state of mind, and then start replying to that all-important mail!
  • In this digital era, digital detoxification (read: getting away from the gadgets and social media) at least once a month is a must.
  • Don’t compromise on your sleep! The ramifications go deeper than you think!
  • Stop thinking of what others will say and start taking action on what you think is right!
  • Stop comparing yourself with others! It results in enviousness.
  • Keep a check on what information (personal or professional) you share with others (colleagues, friends, etc.). You never know when it could be used against you.
  • Maintain a daily journal of your goals and accomplishments for the day.
  • Don’t jump to conclusions about any person without knowing their background! Chances are they are facing a life that is more difficult and challenging than yours.
  • Always be like a duck! Calm on the surface but paddling hard beneath. The world respects calmness in character rather than jittery ones.
  • Try to find the main outcomes from your experiences (good or bad), as every event brings some valuable learning with it!
  • There is no perfect time to do things. Just start with whatever resources you have and you will be surprised at what you can achieve. Taking the first step is the most challenging part!
  • Keep forgiveness as a part of your daily routine.
